We ain't afraid of no heights
About
We've all decided to abseil 140 feet together to support the work of Guy's Cancer Charity.
Most of you will know that dad was first diagnosed with liver cancer nearly 10 years ago. The doctor's prognosis at the time was that it was unlikely that he would survive the cancer at all.
Well, shows what they knew. Here he is, 10 years, five instances of cancer, three graduations, one wedding, a pandemic and more rounds of golf than anyone can count later. That would not have been possible without the research and treatment by the cancer specialists at King's.
A lot of the cancer treatment that happens at King's is informed by the research that happens at Guy's Cancer Charity - so now that team abseil should be starting to make a bit more sense.
It means so much to be able to do this together and we will be hugely grateful for whatever sponsorship you're able to give.

Your donations will help make sure everyone gets personalised care which is as unique as they are.
Every penny of your donation will help to make a difference:
£10 could help run a virtual support group session, enabling patients and carers to share their experiences of cancer from the comfort of their own home.
£50 could help provide a comforting care package for someone receiving end of life care, helping to alleviate symptoms and soothe fears.
£150 could provide expert welfare and benefits advice for a patient experiencing financial hardship, giving them the freedom to focus on their recovery.
£350 can help invest in the latest surgical robotic technology, so expert surgeons can work with greater accuracy and send patients home to their families sooner.
